Wickhambreaux Parish Council

Cllr Twyman, who is the Parish Council’s representative on the River Management Group, is in daily contact with the Environment Agency and Southern Water. Water levels are being regularly monitored and the situation is under control.
The parts of the parish most at risk are near Grove Ferry, which is affected by both the Great Stour and the Little Stour.
If, in the coming days, water levels in the river behind Wickhambreaux Mill should cause concern plans are in place to pump water round the Mill, but this is not necessary at the present time.
Mr Twyman holds a supply of sand bags for use in the parish. Any parishioner who needs sand bags can contact Mr Twyman, or leave a message, on one of the following numbers and he will deliver them to you:
